My name is Jenny Taylor and I am the founder of Our Hope International. This non-profit organization has been formed by the hands of God following a trip to serve in Uganda, Africa. While serving in Uganda I had the opportunity to meet Edith Lukabwe, the director of Home of Hope, an orphanage that serves children with disabilities. I had been praying for a way to use my occupational therapy skills though missions and working with these children was the answer!

Mt. Zion Primary School – Our Hope also currently supports Mt. Zion Primary School. They are the only school in the area that serves children with disabilities. The school has a special education teacher and specific program to meet these children’s needs. The students live at the school and have a full time caregiver to assist them. We currently have sponsors for 4 children at Home of Hope to attend and another child in the community. Check them out on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/mtzion.nursery?fref=ts
Kisaakye Rehabilitation– We also support this local outreach clinic by providing monthly salaries for the occupational therapist and nurse. During our annual trip we provide medical supplies and assistance at their outreach clinic. This organization provides a drop in clinic six days a week as well as traveling into the community for home visits. The team consists of an OT, therapy assistant, special education teacher and nurse. They provide resources, basic wound care and therapy recommendations to families seeking to better the lives of their children.
