Meet Jalia
Jalia is a precious girl with cerebral palsy who came to Home of Hope after the loss of her mother to COVID-19 in 2020. Following her mother's passing, Jalia's grandmother was unable to provide the level of care she needed and made the difficult decision to bring her to Home of Hope, where she could receive ongoing support and compassionate care.
Jalia requires full assistance with her daily needs, including bathing, dressing, and feeding. She is a content and gentle child who enjoys watching the other children play and interact around her. Through regular occupational and physical therapy, Jalia is working to build her strength and develop the skills needed to sit independently.
