Joann is a young lady with epilepsy and severe developmental delays who has overcome extraordinary challenges. After the loss of her parents, she was cared for by her grandmother until her grandmother's passing left her completely alone. With no one to care for her, Joann lived in extremely difficult conditions until local authorities discovered her situation and brought her to Home of Hope. When she arrived, she was malnourished, unable to walk, and in desperate need of care and protection.

Today, Joann is thriving. With the love and support of the Home of Hope staff, she has made remarkable progress. She can now speak, sit independently, feed herself, and move around on her own. Joann is bright and enjoys attending a local day school, where she learns alongside both typical and special needs children while receiving the support she needs to succeed.

Joann is in need of sponsorship for both her daily care at Home of Hope and her education. Home of Hope sponsorship helps provide meals, clothing, nanny care, medications to control her epilepsy, therapy services, and other essential needs. School sponsorship helps cover tuition, uniforms, and school supplies.

The cost is $45 per month for either sponsorship or $90 per month to support both her care and education. Your sponsorship helps ensure Joann continues to grow, learn, and build a bright future filled with hope and opportunity.
